TINE® Ridder origins from Tresfjord, a beautiful village located in one of the scenic fjords along the western coast of Norway. TINE® Ridder was developed in 1960 and is a cousin of the French Port Salut. It is a smear-ripened cheese with a rich and aromatic flavor and a smooth and soft consistency. It is honored with a Norwegian specialty food label for its unique taste.
